Lockwood House is located in the popular seaside town of Dawlish, directly opposite Dawlish Countryside Park, just off the A379 Exeter Road.

If you are looking for a traditional seaside holiday, then Dawlish Warren is just down the road and offers a long sandy beach with plenty of attractions, shops, cafes and pubs. If you want to dine with a view, then we highly recommend The Boat House or The Anchor Inn.

The Exe Estuary Trail is a newly constructed cycle trail and walkway that takes you right around the Exe Estuary from Dawlish to Exmouth, passing through some beautiful riverside towns and villages with some fantastic views.

Powderham Castle is also nearby in the village of Kenton and hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including guided tours, festivals, concerts, exhibitions, open air cinema and more.

Sainsbury's superstore and fuel station is conveniently situated just a half of a mile away, you can walk across the country park where there is a pedestrian access on Shutterton Lane, through the estate to Sainsburys.
